"Mansion With A Mission"

Third Street Alliance for Women & Children celebrates its centennial in 2009. Founded as the YWCA of Easton, the agency has adapted to meet the needs of the community it has served for 100 years.

Third Street Alliance is housed in the historic Simon House, once the home of wealthy silk merchant Herman Simon. Here, in this elegant mansion, Third Street Alliance fulfills its mission by providing shelter and life skills for homeless women and children as well as educational childcare, stimulating adult day services, and wellness and aquatics classes to the community.
